TikTok & Reels Safe Zone Checker

Your slide is 1080×1920, but the platform only lets you use part of it. Drag the text box to see what TikTok's action rail and caption block will cover — measured from a real device, not estimated from a screenshot.

This text is clear

Nothing on TikTok sits on top of this rectangle. The dashed outline is the area that stays clear on both platforms — keep anything that must be read inside it.

Why this matters

A slide is not a poster. The platform draws its own interface over the bottom and right of every frame, so the line you spent the longest writing is often the one nobody can read. The zones here are measured from a real device, not estimated.

Questions

What is a safe zone?

The part of a 9:16 frame the platform does not cover with its own interface. TikTok draws an action rail down the right and a caption block along the bottom; Reels does much the same with slightly different bounds. Anything you put underneath is still in your file, but nobody reads it.

Where do these measurements come from?

A real iPhone, not a mock-up. We read the position of TikTok's action rail off the device while building Autopilot, and the same bounds check every slide our generator renders.

Does my image get uploaded?

No. The preview is drawn in your browser and the file never leaves it.

ViralSlides applies these bounds automatically — every generated slide is checked against them before it ships, so the hook is never hiding under a like button.
