Logo & Watermark Placement

You put a watermark on every slide so people know whose it is. Then TikTok draws its caption bar straight over it. Pick a corner, drag the inset, and see exactly when your logo becomes visible again — on both platforms.

Why bottom-right is usually wrong

It is the default almost everywhere, and on TikTok it lands under the caption block — the strip carrying the username, caption and sound title. The bottom-left corner has the same problem. The top corners run into the navigation bar. A watermark tucked 60px into any corner of a 1080×1920 slide is covered somewhere.

The fix is not a different corner, it is a bigger inset. Drag the slider until the outline turns green.

Questions

Where should I put my logo on a TikTok slideshow?

Not tucked into a corner. On a 1080x1920 slide, a watermark 60px from the edge is covered wherever you put it: the bottom corners sit under the caption block, the top corners under the navigation bar. Keep the corner you like and push the inset out until the tool says it clears — usually somewhere past 280px on the bottom.

Why is bottom-right the wrong default?

It is the convention from photography and video, where nothing is drawn on top. Short-form apps draw their own interface over the frame, and the bottom strip is the busiest part of it. We had this wrong on our own slides until we measured it.

How big should a watermark be?

Big enough to read at thumb size, small enough to ignore. Ours is about a quarter of the slide width. Past that it competes with the content; below it, nobody can tell what it says.

Does my logo get uploaded?

No. The preview is drawn in your browser and the file never leaves it.

In ViralSlides the watermark is part of your brand kit — set the text or logo once and every generated slide carries it, in the position you picked here.
